Here are some drawings made in and inspired by Brecon.
I went for a week to Llandduesant and was inspired by the water and how it has carved the astonishing landscape I was immersed in.
I soaked and saturated the paper in water and experimented with what the water could do using different materials. I did not use expensive or very good quality paper so this batch of drawings is an experimentation and about learning the materials whilst embracing the inspiration surrounding me.
I am particularly intrigued by the use of salt, I haven't used it for months and have a new found interest in salt!
