I have been experimenting and questioning scale. This work is 12 x 15 inches.
Whilst creating work on this scale up to 1.1m x 0.8m I have juxtaposed this with very small scale monoprints, some as small as 1 x 1 inch. Experimentation is key throughout, the monoprinting is looking at creating depth but I am, at the moment, still getting to grips with what I can do with monoprint.
Different:
Paper - weight, colour
Ink - amount, thickness, transparency
Colour
Drying mediums
Ways to ink up
Print pressure
Mark making tools
Turpse drying times
Heat/weather
Timings for soaking water
All of the above and more is what I am currently considering and experimenting with.
