Geology

I am inspired by geological features such as alluvial fans, erosion and strata present in the British Coastline. I recently moved to Yorkshire as an artist in residence, where the rate of erosion is far more prolific.

About Me

Sophie Victoria Elliott Art: Landscape inspired artist; the coast of Wales was the main catalyst for my work, but my residency in Yorkshire is influencing the recent progression of work. Geology remains an integral aspect but Welsh history and possible relationships with Yorkshire are a developing aspect. Paper based mixed media is currently predominantly used in my work.
